4 février 2010

A post-doctoral position is available for 1 year at the Microfluidic, MEMS
and Nanostructure team in UMR Gulliver-ESPCI. This position is funded by
INRIA in the framework of Basiclab project, aiming at building a set-up
able to provide high throughput screening for biomedical applications with
a feed back control. The project BasicLab is a consortium including
computer science (INRIA-Rennes), biologists (INSERM-Rennes),
microelectronics (IETR-Rennes and ENS-Cachan) and microfluidics
(ESPCI-Paris). The research fellow will be involved in :
Fundamental issues : that are raised by thermocapillary actuation in
microfluidics.
Applicative issues : work on a system able to feed an array of
microreservoirs of controlled amount of liquids.
Good skills in the following areas will be appreciated : microfabrication,
microfluidics, soft matter, hydrodynamics.

Applications should be sent to : Marie-Caroline Jullien :
